Coming from a Virginia estate, this beautiful little mirror measures 4 inches X 1 3/4 inches and is stamped "Made in France" on the inside of the handle. This little mirror has such charm and appeal with the lovely, elegantly detailed filigree work overall, the enamelled medallion in the center with cobalt blue background and rosebuds, and the cobalt blue glass gemstones surrounding the medallion. The piece is in excellent condition with no breaks, repairs or parts missing. The mirror is beveled and unbroken or cracked, but shows brownish areas w t is loss of the silvering.
