On auction this week is a Beautiful old ironstone bowl. Huge 8 1/2" high just shy of 10" across the top 6 1/2" deep pedestal across is 7 1/4" There is a very, very faint blue tint to the white. I'm sure its just from leftover cobalt in a kiln. I think the condition is Excellent, with some age pitting inside the bowl and on the outside is a dark line under the glaze, glaze is not disturbed. Lovely floral pattern on a paneled sided bowl. there is no makers mark. Very heavy solid piece. I think they are morning glories, and the long vine is wrapped like ribbon on the top and on the pedestal base. (this is not a wheat pattern) Gorgeous ironstone bowl would be a great addition to any collection. Please bid wisely as all sales are final. Thank you very much for stopping by
