Gorgeous Le Rage Rendevous 'Dial a Date' Powder Compact This is a lovely compact with a clock type face describing different appointments a lady may have throughout her day, theatre, dinner, bridge, milliner, dressmaker cinema, lunch, cocktail, hairdresser and tennis with a clock face at the top to set to your required time and a heart at the base depicting a secret rendevous (a bit different from my day I can tell you!!) There is a flower shaped dial in the centre which can be pointed to whichever appointment you wish. The mirror is in good condition and the clasp works well, however the hinge is very loose (hence low start price) but this could easily be fixed by someone more dextrous than me! Outside it is in good condition, the only faults I can see are very minor, the big hand on the clock is ever so slightly bent at it's tip and there is a small white mark you can just see between the number 7 and 8 but this is all. Inside is in good condition, the interior lid works well and there is a little powder residue left, on the inside of the interior lid there a tiny bits of what appears to be the top of the original (still present) powder puff as it seems that the top of the puff may have stuck slightly to the inside of the lid at some point. This can easily be removed either with your thumbnail or a gentle toothbrush.
