Gorgeous Vintage original 1962 Gibson ES-175 D 175D archtop + OHSC + tag NoResv! Superb playing and sounding guitar BARGAIN No Reserve!! I ship worldwide - please see 'P&P and Payments' section for all shipping rates This is an auction for a REALLY NICE vintage c. 1962 Gibson ES-175D with original hard shell case in original sunburst that is a fantastic playing and sounding guitar which has had a few mods. It is in really nice condition with just a few marks and dings here and there. Issues are the original pickups have been replaced with aged Gibson burst bucker humbuckers that look the part and sound brilliant. The jack socket has been moved from the side to the top just like a 335 and the hole where the jack socket used to be is so well patched up you could easily be mistaken for assuming it came from the factory like that! The switch nut has been changed as has the truss rod cover . The original knobs are also missing their metal inserts on the top. Although it is not 100% original it is a brilliant sounding and playing guitar… If you are a Steve Howe fan like me, you will not be disappointed. There are absolutely no headstock breaks or cracks or repairs at all, you can see this clearly in the close up pictures and it is all solid as a rock.
