For sale is a gorgeous vintage reverse painted lamp with big red poppies and a butterfly a against a floral, verdant background. The shade is vintage, the lamp base is antique. The lamp measures 21.5" tall, and the lamp base is 7.25" wide, marked "1729". The pull cord sockets work perfectly, the lamp base has been professionally rewired for immediate use. The shade is large and beautiful, and measures 16" in diameter, and is 8" high. It has been painted white on the inside in order to enhance the brilliant green color when the lamp is lit. A spot t hat may look like a chip on the inside of the smaller opening of shade is an optical illusion - the white paint is missing on the rim of the smaller opening on the inside, but the shade is structurally completely intact (can't see this from the outside).
