SLEEPY TURTLE STUDIOS ~genuine one of a kind charm & fine jewelry collection~ Presents GORGEOUS VINTAGE STERLING SILVER CHARM BRACELET LOADED WITH 41+ SILVER CHARMS! A Sleepy Turtle Original Design Gorgeous signed "925" Vintage Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet measures 8 inches in length . Loaded with 41 charms & dangles mostly all sterling silver with the exception of only a couple that may be pewter or plated. Each charm was selectively picked just for this bracelet..I hope you enjoy.. please view the pictures carefully and my list of descriptions are right below:-) I try to describe as honestly and as descriptive as I can...some charms may not be marked but ARE sterling because the piece that it came from... a necklace, earring, or brooch was marked as 925 or sterling and two pieces are from an OLD signed 800 filagree necklace. Some of these pieces are very old and sterling silver oxidizes and darkens with age. This of course can easily be removed with sterling cleaner...some collectors love the patina so I do not remove this. I think Vintage Sterling jewelry ages gracefully and looks awesome once it starts changing to its darker shades. Descriptions Starting From The Clasp: * Gorgeous Sterling silver & genuine garnet charm. The earnut was marked on this earring although the piece itself is not marked..all garnet purchased from same place and I have others just very similar to this that ARE marked 925*Beautiful old vintage sterling scrolled design heart. Not signed although screw type earring it came off of was signed sterling* Beautiful OLD clover shaped sterling silver charm with small bell dangles. Not signed although came from signed sterling earring.* Old Mexican art noveau charm dangle. This piece is very old and dark. It was once a screw back earring..the back is signed on this one "Sterling Taxco"* Beautiful Vintage Sterling silver two part charm dangle. First piece is a small bow connector piece which is sterling and came from an old earring...the second part is in a flower design and of four layers total.....this piece used to be part of a necklace...not signed but you can definitely tell this is sterling and the necklace it came from was signed sterling and 925* Silver minature heart padlock charm without key....this charm has hallmarks on it...I do not see a 925 or sterling but it is signed AJC and also has some other unusual hallmarks on it....3 of them...one of the tiny hallmarks looks like a lion shape in a box...the other two I cannot really make out... I do believe this to be sterling silver* Gorgeous scrolled and filagree rectangular silver piece. This one piece comes from a necklace that was signed "800 silver" Which means it is sterling silver but also mixed with another metal of some sort...not as concetrated as 925 silver. A lot of antique and even foreign silvers are marked 800. This piece itself is not marked and you can tell by its stiffness and strength that another alloy is mixed in with the silver. To hang I did add a heart shaped bail which is not sterling but is silver toned* Beautiful Vintage Sterling unsigned scrolled heart charm. This piece came from an old screw back earring that was marked "925" I have added a scrolled bail that is silver plated and not solid sterling to hang.* OLD sterling silver girls face with pigtails charm. This came from another screw back earring that was signed "sterling" on the screw. T is a name for this girls face as I have seen the name before but I cannot think of that name now..not yin yang but something similar?* This is a beauty! A red and blue worlds fair flag! On the front is says NY Worlds Fair 1964-1965. On the back it was signed by the giver of the charm : "To Jo Get Well" T is also a signed "Sterling" signature along with "cWc" and in the lower left corner "1961 NYWF"* This charm looks to be hand designed with what looks like Sterling Solder to wrap it together.
