eBay's largest sellers use AuctionLynxx to increase sales... shouldn't you? *** WATSON STERLING SILVER 4 PIECE TEA SET *** John Alden Pattern A brilliant and sparkling Victorian sterling tea set is offered in this buy it now/best offer auction. Dating to 1911 and in excellent condition complete with the original ivory insulators. Each piece is marked STERLING with matching pattern number 5814. The maker's mark is the logo for Watson Sterling, a major manufacturer in Attleboro, Massachusetts from who began business in 1880. The four piece set consists of a tall coffee pot, a teapot, creamer and waste bowl. The pots both have large acorn finials and hinged lids. Each of the four pieces feature a pedestal foot. Condition: Superb. Absolutely no dings or dents anyw No repairs. The set has never been monogrammed. The hinges on both pots are rock-solid and in perfect working order with no damage or repair. Dimensions Coffeepot: 11" high to top of finial with a 4" x 3" base. Handle to spout 10". Dimensions Teapot: 9" to top of handle with a 4" x 3" base. Handle to spout 10". Dimensions Creamer: 6" to top of handle with a 3" x 2" base. Dimensions Waste Bowl: 4 1/4" high x 5 1/2" x 4" opening x 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" base. Total Weight: 3 pounds 9 ounces fine silver This is a lovely Watson fine sterling silver coffee & tea set of the Victorian period that's survived the passage of time in amazingly fine condition. Offered at a reasonable buy it now price with all serious offers given consideration. You won't find an antique sterling service in finer condition.
