EXCELLENT, WESTERN BOULDER, 60'S VINTAGE, BIRD AND TROUT KNIFE, MODEL 48. This is another outstanding, early Western bird and trout knife. The 48 pattern is larger than the smaller 28, but still classified as a bird and trout knife. Knife measures 8 inches in total length with blade length of 4 1/2". Small enough for birds and trout, but large enough to clean larger animals. The sheath is original, leather is soft and flexible. All stitches intact. Keeper strap snaps. Sheath is definitely worn, but in good shape. These smaller Western's are becoming very collectable, and a great investment. This would make a great addition to any Western cutlery collection, or as a field-ready knife. Blade is shiny and free from scratches, pitting, and sharpening marks. Dont miss out on this one. An excellent knife, not abused or oversharpened.
