GORHAM STERLING SILVER TEA SET PLYMOUTH PATTERN This is an elegant matching five piece Gorham sterling silver set in the desirable Plymouth pattern. The design shown engraved on the creamer is on each piece. Each piece is masterfully crafted and t are no dents, splits, breaks, or repairs of any kind on all pieces except the coffee pot. The coffee pot handle has a slight ding on the top, is wobbly and appears to have been repaired. The pins holding the handle are loose. All lids are a perfect fit and the teapot and coffee pot each have the original ivory heat stops. All the pieces have a rich, sterling patina. This set was my aunts and has been in the family since the early 1940's. I am not sure what the exact dates are but have indicated the numbers marked on each piece. Coffee Pot: 9 1/2" tall X 10 1/2" long X 5" wide. A2441/31; 2 3/8 Pint Teapot: 6 1/2" tall X 11 5/8" long X 5" wide. A2442/31; 3 Pint Creamer: 6 1/4" tall X 5 1/2" (from spout to handle) X 3 1/8" wide. A2444/31; 5/8 Pint Sugar Bowl: 6 1/4" tall X 8" long X 4 1/4" wide. A2443/31 Waste Bowl: 6 1/4" long X 3 7/8" wide X 4" tall. A2445/31 Each base is hallmarked with GORHAM, PLYMOUTH, STERLING, an anchor with two other marks, the teapot and coffe pot also have a "fish" mark. I do not know the total weight.
