GORHAM Art Nouveau Silver 14" Loving Cup

This impressive 14" tall antique, Art Nouveau Gorham loving cup is believed to date from 1906. Made of sterling silver. Impressive 14" height (36 cm), 10" width (25 cm) and weight of 6 lbs. (2.7 kg). Features applied handles and a monogram emblem that appears read " H P de B ". Based on this unique emblem and the oval encircled style number, this piece was likely a custom order for a particular client. Purchased a few months ago at estate sale, the cup was very recently polished.
Additional images gladly forwarded upon request. Marks include the familiar Gorham anchor, "G", style number "4870", key symbol for the year 1906, "STERLING SILVER", "9 PINTS" capacity, and a mark that appears to be a "W", to the left of the anchor symbol. Additional Keywords: Bijan.
