Gorham Chantilly Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoons Gorham sterling silver Chantilly coffee spoons. This is a set of 6 sterling silver demitasse coffee spoons in good to very good condition with the monogram of MFW on the handle. No dents or dings. The spoons have some surface scratching and tarnishing, and two have small pits in the bowls. One has a deeper than surface scratch on the underside of the spoon bowl. The spoons are 4 1/8" long. As to condition of this silver: Although this set is in good condition for its age, it is not new, and not sold as new. In every case, you will find small scratches and nicks on the knife blades, and not all blades may be completely flat. All spoons show small visible pitting and some light scratches. Some spoons may have small nicks on the edges. All forks may have small scratches and minor nicks and dents on the tines. The handles on all pieces will show some signs of rubbing from use and possibly from polishing. Despite all of these imperfections, do not mistake this for a damaged or valueless set. It still shows beautifully and is completely serve-worthy. If you are considering purchasing it for resale, you will find that is has much value to offer. If you are buying it for your own use, you will find that you have fine sterling flatware at a small fraction of the cost of new service.
