For your consideration we have a beautiful 82 piece Sterling Silver flatware set in the hard to find 1953 Decor pattern produced by Gorham. This set is the dinner size set and consist of the following pieces: (8) 9 5/8" Modern Blade Dinner Knives - Marked Sterling handle (8) 7 5/8" Dinner Forks (8) 6 1/2" Salad Forks (8) 6" Teaspoons (8) 7 1/4" Oval Soup Spoons (8) 7 5/8" Iced Tea Spoons (8) 5 3/4" Cocktail Forks (8) 6 1/4" Moden Blade Butter Knives - Marked Sterling Handle (8) 4 3/8" Demitasse Spoons Also included are these 10 Serving Pieces: (1) 8 5/8" Solid Table Serving Spoon (1) 8 1/8" Solid Meat Serving Fork (1) 10 3/4" Cake Server - Marked Sterling Handle (1) 6 5/8" Cheese Server - Marked Sterling Handle (1) 7 1/8" Flat Handle Solid Master Butter Knife (1) 6 3/8" Solid Gravy Ladle (1) 6 1/8" Sugar Shell (1) 6 1/4" Solid Jelly Server (1) 5 3/4" Pickle Fork (1) 4 3/8" Lemon Fork This set has been well cared for and is in excellent used estate condition with only very minimal signs of use. All pieces are marked Gorham Sterling, except the knives and butter knives which are marked sterling handle and stainless blades. None of the pieces have monograms or removals. Those of you familiar with Decor realize how heavy and beautiful this pattern is. The set includes a Reed & Barton Mahogany Silver Chest with drawer and brass plate that has not been inscribed. The wooden chest is over 50 years old and does have some scuffs and marks, but is still very presentable. The chest can be sent with the silverware or not - your choice. Shipping will be actual cost plus required full insurance and will be determined at auction end (USPS, UPS, or FEDex). Please feel free to forward any questions.
