This is a beautiful antique sterling silver souvenir spoon by Gorham. It is a heavy cast figural 3D piece... an orange spoon with ornate bowl and golden globes and leaves. Beautiful patina. Some wear to the gold wash.5 and 3/4 inches long. The back of the bowl is engraved "5.31.'08". Marked LION ANCHOR G STERLING H38. The most recent Silver Magazine had a great article about Shiebler souvenir spoons, and the amazing clip at which were they were sold in Florida hotels in the height of tourist season. This was undoubtedly a very popular spoon as well. Very good estate condition! USPS First Class in a well padded envelope with delivery confirmation is FREE.
