Just in time for holiday parties! Fantastic 56 piece flatware / silverware set of Gorham Lansdowne sterling silver. All pieces are monogrammed with an "M" (or "W", I suppose, depending on which way you read it!), and marked with lion, anchor, G for Gorham, PAT 1917 STERLING. The forks and teaspoons are also marked with a "T" on the back. The knives are marked with "stainless" on the blade and "sterling handle". The butter knives and bouillon spoons are marked "Gorham Inc". It is in good overall condition, some light scuff marks to lunch/dinner knife handles. I have taken a picture of the worst mark which is on a lunch knife. The pattern is crisp, and displays nicely. It could use a good polish. The set consists of: 9 Dinner Knives, approx. 9 1/2" long 7 Lunch Knives, approx. 8 1/2" long 8 Dinner Forks, approx. 7 3/4" long 7 Lunch Forks, approx. 7" long 7 Flat Handle (solid) Butter Knives, approx. 5 3/4" long 8 Bouillon or Soup Spoons, approx. 5 1/4" long 9 Teaspoons or "5 O'Clock spoons", approx. 5 5/8" long 1 Jelly server or jelly slice, solid, approx. 5 3/4" long. The "M" monogram on the jelly server is slightly different than the one on the rest of the set-please see photos. I don't know why, but that's the way the set came, so that's the way I'm selling it! Also included is the chest the set came in, an old International Silver chest. It is not too pretty to look at on the outside, but very functional and clean inside. I have done my best to describe the set-I am not an expert, so please see photos and ask any questions before bidding, I will be happy to answer. Shipping is via UPS ground within the continental United States, and includes insurance. I accept Paypal (confirmed addresses ONLY), money orders, and cashier's checks-no personal checks.
