Gorham three candle candelabra. Mark on base is Gorham Sterling 638 (pattern number). Hallmark dates between 1933-1940 a period Gorham used no date stamp. This is quality sterling and base is solid, not a tissue thin covering over concrete that damages at a slight touch. This desirable twisted arm piece measures a perfectly proportioned 13 1/8" high by 13 1/8" wide with a 4 5/8" base. It is actually three pieces in one, being convertable to two different size candlesticks (shown in photos). You have: 1) The 3 arm candelabra. 2) Candle stick 9" high. 3) Candlestick 4 5/8" high. This flexibility gives you sterling for multiple settings with this one piece. Condition: Excellant. Minor issues I have tried to show in photos are small bent place at bottom of base, couple of minute dings at base. Are all minor and do not detract from beauty. It is difficult to find sterling this old in such good condition. If you appreciate unique, quality vintage pieces over lower quality mass produced pieces then this is a piece for you. LOW RESERVE!!!!!!!! Note: If you want a "pair" we also have for auction another 3 candle candlelabra that IS IDENTICAL except for base. It is the Gorham/Mueck Carey piece that expires 15 minutes after this auction (Ebay item #320195303293) . All top parts are Gorham identical to the above. The base is sterling vintage read more
