53.8 Troy Ounces ~~Gorham Maintenon~~ ~~Sterling Oval Tray~~ 18-1/2" x 13-1/2" x 1-3/8" High Pattern #A10223/1 Maintenon hollowware is one of Gorham's most beautiful and rarest patterns. This tray is in excellent estate condition with very small knife marks in the well (see photo). The spot you see on the tray is a reflection of an overhead light. The tray has two cartouchs with one monogrammed with the initials "ER" in ornate script and the other cartouch is blank. The quality of the engraving adds to the unique character of the tray and is rarely seen today due to the high cost produce. The Gorham hallmark is on the bottom of the tray which includes the Lion, Anchor and "G". The tray was made in 1918 from the axe hallmark. The pattern number is A10223/1. The tray measures 18-1/2" x 13-1/2" x 1-3/8" high. The weight of the tray is 53.8 troy ounces. T is no markup on shipping, handling and insurance. I only want to recover my direct cost.
