Thank you and email with questions. This Auction is for a wonderful Vintage (c1970) GORHAM STERLING Silver Christmas Tree Topper in the form of a Star or cross...see images. This item was recently purchased from an Estate. This item measures about 7 7/16" long from the very top of the sterling to the bottom of the dark plastic fitter that fits onto the tree. Just the sterling section is about 5 3/16" tall. The sterling section is about 4 1/8" or so wide at the widest point. The inside diameter of the hole in the fitter that goes over the top of the tree is just over 3/8" in diameter. This item is marked GORHAM STERLING 440 on the side...see images This item is in Good vintage condition, with some signs of age and wear, please enlarge images to get a closer look at this items condition. T are some dents on the back of the cross in the 'stem' section of the sterling ---see close images...t are some faint/fine surface scratches etc. as you expect to find on vintage sterling items, though none very large/deep or objectionable.. All in all, I would have to say that this item is in Good vintage condition with some signs of age.
