Up for auction is this fifty nine (59) piece (Serves 8 plus extras, box included as well which is a bit beat up on the outside but works great for holding the silverware contact me if you want a picture of the outside) Gorham Sterling Silver set. It is in a classic pattern which features a floral and scroll design along the edge of the handle. I believe the pattern of all of them to be: Camiella 1941 . T are monograms that say Gorham Sterling Pat. 1941 on some of the larger items (serving fork, ladles, serving spoons and scalloped spoon). These were all purchased together as a set by my Grandmother. Included in the set is the following: (8) Knives, 8-¾ in. long. (8) Forks, 7-5/8 in. long. (8) Teaspoons, 6 in. long. (8) Individual butter spreaders, 5-¾ in. long. (8) Salad forks, 6-½ in. long. (8) Round soup spoons, 6-¼ in. long. (1) Carving knife, 10-¾ in. long. (1) Carving/serving 2 prong fork, 9 in. long. (1) Large 3 prong fork, 8 in. long (2) Ladles (1) large 6 in. long (1) small, 5 in. long. (2) Large serving spoons, 8-½ in. long. (1) Small 2 prong lemon fork, 5-½ in. long. (1) Cake server, 10-¼ in. long. (1) Scalloped spoon, 6-¼ in. long. (1) Sugar cube prong, 4 in. long. They are in good condition (condition commensurate with age) with normal use with some minor scratches, wear & tear on a few of the items (serving knife has scratches from being sharpened). May need polishing. While I make every effort to accurately describe my items as to dating, content, brand, composition, condition, values, etc., it is based solely on my general knowledge & opinions. Since it did not complete the set serving of 8 I listed them seperately. T are some other Demiitasse spoons listed as well from another maker so please take a look at my other auctions.
