A Gorham sterling silver salad serving set in the 1897 Lancaster pattern. The set comes in its original leather bound box and is in near immaculate condition. Each piece measures 8 5/8" in length with the utensil ends showing a lustrous gold wash. T is absolutely no damage of anykind to the set and the surface wear is minimal. The backsides of the handles are stamped 'sterling' along with the Gorham maker's mark. The fronts show a scripted monogram JG(?). They are additionally stamped 'J.E. Caldwell & Co.' for the distributor. A lovely set for any table.
