Goshawk Keyring of a Bird of Prey Painting by British Wildlife Artist Steve Greaves A Northern Goshawk ( Accipiter gentilis) Sitting on a Bow Perch Very Rare - Only 5 Samples Made! - Only 5 Available* A Full Colour Image of a Popular Hawk used in Falconry and Hawking From an Original Gouache (Opaque Watercolour) Painting Professionally Printed onto Hard Rubber Material (Should bounce rather than break if you drop it!) Ring Size: 30mm Diameter Rubber Part: 50mm x 75mm The reverse of the keyring has a short text description of the image on the front .(Image can be supplied if required). The Keyring is supplied ready-assembled. The keyring depicts a regal looking Northern Goshawk sitting on a falconer's bow perch in autumn (fall) sunlight . The young bird is wearing leather jesses and a bell. The original artwork is 12" x 14" and was painted onto Frisk CS10 Illustration board when the artist was a 20 year old art student in 1983 in South Wales. Paint was applied quite thinly allowing the board to show through in the lighter areas. No white paint was used in this painting. The bird belonged to Dr. Nick Fox who was one of the artist's art college lecturers and a renown falconry and hawking expert.
