GOTHIC NEEDLEPOINT/PETITPOINT PILLOW OF DRAGON/GRIFFIN

Pillows add the finishing touch to any room and you can never have too many. For your consideration I have a wonderful antique French GOTHIC needlepoint pillow. The needlepoint which is done in wool is from the late 1800's. The colors are muted grays, black, burgundy, dusty pink, rust, taupe, curry and more. The needlepoint measures 20"x 20" and is in excellent condition with no holes, missing stitches, stains or smells. The dragon/griffin is done in petitpoint. It is on very plush dark taupe gray cotton velvet from Scalamandre. T is a taupe gray tassel fringe around the needlepoint and a taupe, gray, beige and burgundy chenille and cotton loop brush fringe around the pillow. The pillow measures approx. 24"x24". T is a zipper at the bottom for your convenience. T is a down and feather insert for a plush look and feel. This recently constructed pillow is the perfect blend of old and new. It is in excellent condition and comes from a smoke free home. Please check out my other auctions. I will be happy to combine shipping.
