GOTZ ARTIST DOLL BY ELIZABETH LINDNER1996 HARMONY COLLECTIONAZTEC INDIAN - TUTUFrom the Gotz 1996 Artist Doll collection comes Elizabeth Lindner's Tutu. Tutu stands 16" (45cm) tall and is an Open Edition meaning that the doll was produced based on the orders received. Tutu is made of high quality vinyl on a cloth body and is jointed at the neck. Tutu has German glass eyes and her delicate coloring is achieved with an air brush at the Gotz factory using 'masks' and several coats of paint. On the left hand is a lady bug. Tutu's outfit begins with beige raw silk pants that fall just below the knee. Over the pants is a blue raw silk long sleeved dress over which is a beige cotton and tri-colored raw silk top in black, blue and cranberry imprinted with the name Tutu. Her cranberry head band has blue and white beading on each side and she wears a blue and white multi-strand bracelet on her right wrist. Leather sandals complete the outfit.Incised on her neck is '337-16 which is the mold number and size of the doll. New and displayed in our now closed shop, Tutu is all original and in excellent condition with Gotz Tags, Certificate of Authenticity and Gotz box. Our boxes were kept in a storage room and the box does have water damage (leaking during heavy rain one year) and does show shelf wear. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
