I have owned this original GPO 232 Black Bakelite since 1978 and originally it worked as it is. I seriously need to declutter and therefore have decided to put it on eBay.This phone has not been converted and I have merely used it for decorative purposes. It is in good condition for its age and in the right hands restored and converted will no doubt be a treasure. Please note I have never used anything on this phone (i.e. T-cut) to bring up the Bakelite and it is as originally purchased directly from the GPO (receipt is in the drawer).
