WINCHESTER - FAIRBANKS GRAIN - SCALES - TESTER SOLID BRASS Grain Tester - Scales - with slide and bucket. Scale is complete. Used to test grain weight per bushel. Bucket is filled level with grain. Scale shows Lbs. per bush on one scale, lbs & OZ on the middle and % OF 4 lbs on bottom scale. Has PATd' DEC 2, 1877 printed on the scale. Scale itself is 10 5/8 long. Total length is 13 5/8 inches long, by 1 inch wide, 5/16 inch thick. Bucket holds Two Quarts Dry. Bucket is 5 3/4 inches tall. Approximately 9 1/2 inches to the top of the hook. Approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Has the No. 49 stamped on top of the bail. Nothing else on bucket that I could see. Also has the No. 49 on the scale. Bail is a little bent. Bucket has a couple of dents in the bottom. No cracks or breaks. This scale has been used. Will have a few dings and t Still in good shape. Has WINCHESTER printed on the slide. Has FAIRBANKS also printed on slide. BUSHEL also printed on slide. Top of slide has been polished. Good for a collector's item or for use to weigh your own grain. ( See Pictures for further detail )
