Up for bid we have an original Grand Army of the Republic GAR Veteran Medal . This medal is from the same estate as the other medal We have listed. It is similar except it has a Civil war Lieutenants insignia for a pin & a larger flag ribbon. It's 3 3/4 inches long & marked 1861 Veteran 1866. A really great original GAR item to add to your important collection. This medal is in very good condition & the only wear is some soiling on the flag ribbon & fraying on one side of the flag ribbon

I accept Personal Checks, Money orders, and Pay pal. I usual ship a day or two after I deposit a check or m/o. I do reserve the right to wait the 10 business days for a personal check, bank check, or money order to officially clear.
Paypal items will be shipped with in three business days after payment is received - Sat. & Sun. are not business days.
I ship via US Post Office. I charge what the Post Office charges plus delivery confirmation, signature confirmation plus a very nominal handling fee of 1.00 to cover shipping material . Delivery or signature confirmation is not required if insurance is purchased. All items with be shipped with care , glass & fragile items will be double boxed .
If you look at the auction page , it will show an automated shipping price. If it is ridiculously high for some reason , please let me know & I will adjust it.
Insurance is up to you. The USPS does a pretty good job, but stuff does get lost or damaged once in a while. T is no way I can be responsible for it once it is in the mail.
