Welcome to the world of Alfred Lee! Original masterpieces from this world renowned Asian Artist. Lee is an international award winning designer from Thailand. Well known for his choice of exotic and rare stones and impeccible design. The shell fossil is massive measure 2.75 inches in height and the cuff has a gram weight of 170. The metal is stamped 925 but is 18k white gold overlay. This cuff is embellished with a stone known as NASA Obsidian. This metal is quite delicate and easy to break, so a crystal has been installed over the metal. NASA Obsidian is believed to be very powerful for healing and good luck for safe traveling. A cuff for those that want to be noticed, ASSERT their individuality and are confident within their heart!! Alfred Lee studied Jewellery Design in Hong Kong in the 1980s. He was eager to experience more diversity of Jewellery so he also studied in Thailand, USA, France and Japan; and became an international Jewellery Designer and Gemologist (G.I.A.). This widened his scope for design based on the cultures of the east and the west. He set up his own institute in Jewellery Design in Singapore in 1986 in order to promote his vast knowledge of jewellery. He also gave lectures in Jewellery Design and Gemology at the National University of Singapore for four years, after which, he extended the institutes to Johore Bahuru and Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia. In 1991 he was invited to give lectures to jewellery manufacturers in Japan. Alfred Lee has won three major Design Awards: The De Beer International Design Award 1990 The Top Asia Jewellery Design Award 1999 The Hong Kong Jewellery Designer Award 2000 His passion for the beauty of jewellery drove him further to manufacturing his own pieces in the 1990s. Every year he participates in all of the major International Jewellery Fairs, such as; Switzerland, Hong Kong, Australia and the US to get the new vision and insight of modern Jewellery. His pieces are inspired by the beauty of nature and the mysteries of the Universe and he has integrated all the latest state of the art ideas into his gemstone and diamond jewellery. He produces every design in limited quantity. His Coral Chocker Collection is now being displayed at the New York Museum. His pieces are being marketed in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, US and many other countries. These exquisite designs attract much attention and the beauty of the stones fascinates the people of the world. (item a396)
