Up for sale is this beautifully detailed figurine hand carved and painted in the mid to late 1940's by Grand Wood Carving. This beautiful statuette (along with many other items I will be listing over the next several months) belonged to a young girl with a passion for horses back in the 1940's and 1950's. This beautiful horse is dark brown with black for the tail, mane, and hooves, white for the lower legs and marking down the front, is beautifully detailed and is simply amazing. This statuette has no broken off pieces, looks beautiful (despite the aging it did in an attic box for the past 50+ years that caused the white paint to yellow) and would make a nice addition to any horse lover's collection. With approximate measurements of 4 inches wide (from nose to tail), 1.15 inches wide (at the widest point) and 4.25 inches tall, this lovely antique is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and 100% Authentic-GUARANTEED!
