Superbly carved Antique English oak Geo. III painted dial 30-hour Longcase Grandfather Clock with exquisitely carved oak case and naively painted enamel dial.Please note handsome painting of robin and robin's nest in the arch of the dial with beautiful painted roses in the corner spandrels.( Period late 18th century eight day dial has been married to the thirty-hour works many years ago.) Hour strike movement, daily wind (by chain). Bought from and works fully restored by our UK clocksmith. Circa 1765-85. Made by (and faintly signed on dial) John Savage, Shrewsbury.
