is a HO/HOn3 Wentamuck Mine kit from Grandt Line, part #5902. This kit is brand new and in the original packaging. It represents a typical gold or silver mine that sprang up along the Rockies and Sierras during the 1870's. These were usually 2 or 3 man operations and used a steam hoist to raise and lower the ore bucket. This kit contains a hoist house with a lean-to coal bin, an outhouse, a headframe with a sheave and ore bucket, mine collar with a ventilator shaft and diversion chute, mine track and mine car, steel barrels and cribbing. A built model has a 5" X 9" footprint. The photo below shows what a finished kit can look like.
