Up for auction is a vintage Grant Avocado Green Electric Percolator Coffee Pot. The handle, top and bottom is avocado green with a silver chrome band near the top and chrome w the glass pot sits on the heating unit. The glass has a black motif pattern around the top with water measurements on the side: four, six, eight, ten and twelve cups (the metal coffee grind hold is also marked to show how much coffee to use for each setting with a plastic black lid covering). The top is also chrome with a green avocado handle marked Pour Shout with an arrow at one end and Unlock with arrows on the other end. On the base of the percolator is a adjustable setting for mild to strong coffee. The bottom is marked W. T. Grant Co., New York, N.Y. 10036, 120 V. 575 W., A. C. Only, Model WTG90019, Series 47H. UL Listed 516 B. Disconnect from Supply Circuit Before Serving. Do Not Immerse In Water. To remove disc plate turn the red dot to position 1. To replace turn red dot to position 2. Insert plate and press down turn knob to position 3. To remove (arrow showing the direction to turn). This is a beautiful vintage percolator with only normal signs of use. The plastic and chrome do need cleaned some but I would say nothing major. The glass pot is perfect no stains, chips or cracks and the motif pattern at the top is not scratched or smeared.
