This is a custom 12" figure commemorating a real American hero of the Old West, Grant Johnson. Johnson was a deputy US Marshal in the Indian Territory for almost 20 years. In the early days Johnson worked under Judge Parker out of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Judge Parker felt that Johnson was one of the best deputies that worked for his court. Grant Johnson often worked in tandem with another legend of the Old West, Baz Reeves. Johnson's work as a deputy US Marshal made him a legend throughout the Indian Territory. Johnson was soon transfered to the Northern District headquartered at Muskogee. In the Northern District, Johnson worked under Marshal Leo Bennett. Johnson developed one of the best arrest records in the Northern District. This was one of the bravest American heroes that ever lived and one of the most noted peace officers in the Indian Territory. Figure designed mainly for display purposes for the wild west fan.
