Be the First to See what has been Hidden for 340 Million Years!! Break Your Own!! HOLLOW!! RATTLES!! LARGE!! Geode is approx. 4.75 x 4 x 3.75 inches ONLY 3 lb 0.8 ozs Loose Quartz Crystals Inside the Geode!! That is what makes it Rattle!! I have collected these geodes over the past couple weeks. You may find minerals such as quartz, pyrite, millerite, barite, aragonite (fluorescent) and many more. Have Fun Cracking!! T is No Telling What's Inside!! T could be a Wide Variety of Minerals or just Quartz Crystals!! I Collect in Some Great Spots!! Don't forget to check them with a Blacklight too (you just never know)!! To break open a Geode you must have a Hammer. (Thicker Geodes may require a Chisel too). Begin by "tapping" the Geode (TO MUCH FORCE WILL SHATTER GEODE'S) - Look to see if any cracks begin to form after a couple of hits - If no crack lines have formed begin "tapping" the Geode harder - Keep looking for cracks as you apply more pressure - Once a crack line has formed tap lightly following the line around the Geode - Once all the way around you can pull it open and see what's inside.
