This is an ORIGINAL FIRST print poster (approx. 14" x 20", and printed PRIOR to the shows by "The Bindweed Press, San Francisco". For a detailed description of the printing history of this poster, please see the FD 1-75 page at ) that was used to promote a series of shows featuring the Grateful Dead & Oxford Circle. These shows took place Nov. 4 & 5, 1966 at the historic Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. This classic psychedelic image, "LOGO", was designed by Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley, and is referred to as FD 33 in the Family Dog series. This beautiful poster has been very carefully preserved for over thirty-five years, and is in VERY GOOD condition. T are tack holes in the two bottom corners, and a series of enlarged tack holes along the top edge. The colros are very nice.
