The Dead 2009 Limited Edition Tour PosterSigned by the Band Offered is a brand new, near-mint/mint poster for The Dead's Spring Tour 2009. The poster measures approx. 13 x 19 and is on thicker paper...a thicker stock to me then the posters I bought at the shows. The artist who created this gem is Jeff Troldahl and his name appears on the lower left side. Thanks Jeff! This poster is part of a limited edition of 1225 AUTHORIZED COPIES and was only for folks who got tickets through the charity auction. This copy has a very low number...307. It is signed in black marker by Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann from the orignal Grateful Dead and Warren Haynes and Jeff Chimenti. Aside from the fact that this is just one smokin piece of Dead family art, a few other things to conisder. Of the 1225 that were created/signed by the band, not many of them should ever surface. Would you give up a signed, limited edition poster for what will probably be the boys last tour. Also, for the ones that do surface, t are a lot of poster collectors who will grab a copy and lock it away in a collection. For the above reasons, this poster has classic written all over it. Finally, when it comes to signed Grateful Dead memorabilia, you have to be very careful. I'm a GD poster collector and I have been burned a few times so...though this poster
