This auction is for a stunning FULPER VASE FORM #27 . This is one of Fulper earliest forms and was produced throughout the 25 years that Fulper created pottery. It is 11" tall vase with two handles and is considered art deco in style. It is 4 1/2" at the widest point. The glaze is a variation of Copper Dust with a black glaze at the top and inside at the top as well. Further down the inside is a more pure Copper Dust glaze. It weighs just under 3 pounds, is in excellent condition, and is a really striking piece. The mark is a 1916-1928 vintage. This vase would make a great addition to a serious Fulper collection. Please check out my other listings for some other Fulper pieces and email with any questions.
It has come to my attention through a thoughtful Ebayer that this finish may actually be Cat's Eye Flambe. Fulper finishes were sometimes so close that the Ebayer may be correct. So please note that this is either Copper Dust or Cat's Eye Flambe. Any other questions, please email.
