Great 1952 Listed Oregon Robert Huck Woodcut 7/15 LtdA beautiful bold woodcut with amazing vivid color. This woodcut is by the Listed Oregon artist Robert Emerson Huck. Pencil Signed and dated 50 the woodblock is also number 7 of 15 copies. The sheet measures 14 1/4 x 21 and the matt opening is 20 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches. Framed the dimensions are 18 1/2 x 25 inches. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Robert Huck (1923-1961) (from memorial exhibition catalog published by Oregon State University) Robert Emerson Huck was born February 26, 1923 at Kalispell, Montana, the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Milton Huck of that city. After completing high school in Kalispell he served with the Signal Corps, Army of the United States, November 1942 to November 1945. He was married ot Dorothy Schroeer of Duluth, MN, June 1948. Their son, Clayton, was born November 25, 1958. Death came tragically in an automobile accident on March 13, 1961.
