This is a great antique cast brass 3 tiered stand made by and signed NB & IW (National Brass & Iron Works, Reading, PA). The three tiers each have the raised scene of a man playing an instrument courting a woman while a couple of puttis watching nearby. The stand measures 32" tall x 19 1/2" wide x 12 1/2" deep with the shelves measureing 15" x 11". It looks like it was painted near the time it was made. The stand is in very good condition with an antique welded repair to a rear leg(see photo), a screw is loose and needs to be soldered(it has been like this without incedent for the better part of 100 years, see photo) and with some expected wear to the paint, it looks very good, otherwise no other reapirs and breaks. It will be shipped disassembeled for ease. It goes back together very easily, tightening a few nuts. The shipping cost reflects the stands approx. packed weight of 31lbs. Note insurance is required.
