This auction is for a fabulous and large BRADLEY AND HUBBARD TABLE LAMP . The style is either Art Nouveau or could be considered neoclassic. In either case, I would date this lamp to the 1910-1920 era. The lamp is quite substantial in size. The total height is just under 24" and the shade is 16" across. It weighs in at slightly over 15 pounds. Everything about this lamp is original. The six curved caramel-colored panels are without any damage whatsoever. The finish on the lamp stand does have some natural aging as the pictures will confirm that do not detract from the overall beauty of the lamp. Some buyers of lamps have the bases re-finished. That's not anything I would do to an original piece but to each his/her own. The filigree and design of the lamp is fabulous and completely intact. I tried to capture the intricate nature of the design when the lamp is both lit and unlit. The lamp base is signed with the typical Bradley and Hubbard triangle as picture #10 will show. Although the shade is not signed, I guarantee it to be original to the lamp. A twin was sold on Ebay about 2-3 months ago and had the same exact shade. When lit, the lamp has a very dramatic warm yellow/golden glow. I do not share reserves until my auctions are over. The lamp base and shade will be boxed separately and the shade will be double boxed for safety. PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL BE AWAY FROM 2-2 THROUGH 2-9 AND WILL SHIP BEGINNING 2/10. HOWEVER, I WILL STILL BE ON EMAIL FOR ANY QUESTIONS. This is a wonderful, vintage B & H lamp so good luck with the bidding.
