The metal parts of the glasses are 12K gf; the chain tests as sterling although it is not marked. Indeed, t is no place to make it. The detail is lovely as you will see in the pictures. It opens easily, once you master the opening mechanism; it springs easily to the open position. In mint condition. Textured nose pieces appear to be mother-of-pearl. The neck chain is 24 inches long total; the holder chain is an additional 4 1/4 inches. Each lens is 1 5/8 inches in diameter. In mint condition and in the original box although the box is nothing special it was kept in it by the former owner. Kinda nice to pass on. Sorry, t is a reserve of $55.00. I prefer paypal but will accept a MO or a check. Shipping charges quoted are for domestic shipping only. Items paid with a check will be held until the check clears.
