Up for auction is a figurine of an Asian family made by Meissen in the first half of the 20th century. It is of a lady with her two kids eating out of a large bowl. They are dressed in very detailed clothing and the base has some nice flowers on it. A really nice figurine that is just pure quality from the modeling to the flowers on her dress! The figurine is 5.625 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and 2.75 inches deep. The piece is in great condition with the spoons being broken off, a chip to the sleeve of the boy in blue and the hair bun thing in the back of her head was broken and is reglued with small pieces missing. The figure displays superbly and the damage is minor and very easy and cheap to get fixed if need be! The figurine is marked with the underglaze crossed swords mark underneath as well as an incised model number 2679, an impressed number 154 and a painters mark 75 in reddish brown. There is a shallow firing crack that can be seen underneath in the pictures but it does not go up the side!
