GREAT miniature ANTIQUE oil FINGER LAMP marked NUTMEG

The photos do not do this piece justice.....it is a wonderful miniature with raised letters on the lamp base.....says "NUTMEG".
The entire piece is about 7 1/2" tall including the chimney.....the lamp base is about 2 1/2" tall....and 3" across.....the sweet little glass lamp has a brass ring on the top and the brass piece that you hold is attached. ....it has the orig chimney and burner....the burner is missing two clips around the top....it does not take away from the lamp....the raised letters of NUTMEG are difficult to photograph...... nice piece and very modest reserve on this little GEM. I have been advised....by avid collectors....and according to the miniature lamp book of RUTH SMITH.....the lamp was made this way...t is only a brass ring around the top and the handle is attached to that and rests on the base....the LAMP IS RIGHT THE WAY IT IS! I HOPE THAT HELPS AND THANKS TO ALL THE EBAYERS WHO TOOK THE TIME TO EMAIL ME.
