we have a great early 1890 -1900's era Old Sleepy Eye stoneware salt bowl. This is what they call Flemish blue and believe it or not was given away in sacks of flour from the Sleepy Eye Milling co. Sleepy Eye, Minn. This is a super example of this highly sought after advertising stoneware. On the bottom rim t is a letter " E ". T is a couple of very minor nicks on bottom ridge probably from factory. It measures 6 1/4" across and 4" high. Great color no hairlines or repairs. Shipping $12.00 Thanks for looking!!
Note: On the bottom t is a very thin like flake that goes along the inner edge of the bottom rim across from the letter E. This is hard to describe, it does not go up into the rim it all is lower than the rim and I would call this a factory blemish probably from when it was taken out of the kiln. So, if you are really particular it is t, it certainly is not noticeable when sitting upright. You be the judge.
