Great Old West Cab Card Palace Hotel Bill Sharons Dream Cartoon Cab Card on Palace Hotel White Elephant 1875Outstanding cartoon cab card. I tried to show as many details as possible. Look and enjoy. Circa 1875 and was a comment on the $5 million cost of the hotel at the time. Sharon was a Senator at the time and his partner William Ralston exhausted his banking enterprise to bankruptcy just a couple of weeks before the opening of the hotel. Ralston's body was found floating in the San Francisco Bay the next day after he was told. Just a great card. Reverse blank.
