This nice original vintage metal screen shade dates from the 1920's-30's. The shade is pictured illuminated on it's original floor lamp that is marked on base "Rembrand". I have chosen to offer the shade separately from the lamp base because the shade could be used on ANY floor lamp and enhance its look! If you want to keep them together the lamp base is on auction at this time also. Shade has it's original brass tag marked "Rembrandt Lamps Chicago---U.S. Pat. No. 1,73?,451" and is marked "Rembrandt" around the attachment ring at top of shade. Conical shade made in 3 wire screen panels with ornate brass edging pieces. Brown colors in varying shades with a repeating period design. Shade is in good used condition and is straight with no bends, breaks or tears with all joint seams tight. Design is strong and looks good When shade is unlit there is some slight shading differences (see pics) but you don't really notice them when lit. Shade measures approx. 6 3/8 in. tall and is approx. 18 1/2 in. across bottom and approx. 4 1/2 in. across top. The shipping cost reflects extra packing (double boxed) and over size box (24 in.). Overall a nice example!
