The Great Sea-Serpent by A. C. OudemansAn Historical and Critical Treatise. with 82 illustrations.October,1892 First Edition of the Crypto-Zoology classic.Incredibly rare in any condition. 591 pgs.Not a book expert, but I'll describe as well as possible.This was, at one time, a library copy, with usual stamps and numbering for the Florida State Board of Conservation Marine Laboratory.The book is in very used condition. The spine and pages are intact, no rips or tearing. Can be handled and read without fear of further damage. The pages have some browning around the edges. The spine and cover have wear and damage along the sides and corners. The cover of the spine has some crinkling with library numbering in white. Inside cover has a personal ownership sticker dated 1937. The first pages have a small amount of spotting (browning). The front and back cover corners are turned in.A very interesting book with great illustrations.I've tried to be as accurate as possible, and if the high bidder is dissatisfied with my description I will do a refund.
