We are listing this wonderful three-piece French carved mahogany stained parlor set. Dating from the 1920s, this is a beautiful set that will need a loving hand! The set needs to re-tightened and re-glued and re-upholstered. We bought this set, intending to have it restored & then re-sell it for the $4000-$5000, because it really is a beautiful set. However, we no longer have an upholsterer on staff, so we are unable to follow thru with our plan. Tfore our loss is your gain!! It really is a heck of a set with a tall wing back chair, armchair and a three-seat sofa. The springs will need to be tied up, but then again, we are listing this set for very reasonable price. Take advantage of the beautiful carved woodwork frameâe"actually, this set is totally usable the way it is if you are savvy enough to tie up the loose springs. The wing chair you could probably put on line and get almost as much as we are asking for the whole set. It has carved cabriole legs, carved knuckles on the arms, carvings all way along the wrap around frame. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 34 inches deep, 42 inches high to the crest and 18 inches high to the seat. The three seat sofa is 78 inches wide, 32 inches deep, 34 inches high and 17 inches high to the seat. The sofa is carved all the way across, carved crest on top and cabriole legs. Last but not least is the armchair. The armchair is 35 inches across, 34 inches deep, 34 inches high and 18 inches high to the seat. This really is a great looking set with a lot of potential; it just needs some work. It will be a fantastic project for all you fledgling upholsterers out t!
