Up for auction is a very nice vintage Steeple Clock. Not really sure of the age so I will have to guess 1970 forward. The clock is in very good condition. The clock case is made from solid Teak, although, it may be rosewood, just not for sure. At any rate it is a nice solid wood clock. The eight day movement runs well and keeps good time, a key will be included with the clock. The dial has a unique design as dose the door insert that matches the dial. The movment is a very nice sounding bim bam with an hour and half hour strike, one of the nicest bim bams I have heard. The steeples are 14.75" tall with two on each side. The metal steeple finels are all in place on top of each steeple. The clock measures 13.25" across the front by 19" tall and 6" deep. This is a very nice kept Steeple clock. $25 will be needed for shipping to ensure safe delivery. No off shore bids accepted as it is just to unsafe to ship and ensure safe delivery of the clock off shore. Took the back off the clock and found a marking on the movement. The movement says made by "Manson & Sullivan Co. Made in Germany. 141-070 29cm 130.36. On the inside case bottom I noticed a scribe saying "Made by" Looks like M. D??? Looks like a date saying 1971. The scribe is light. The clock is likely hand made and well done. The case appears to be rosewood.
