1914-1918 British War Medal. Named to: Rev.J.Calderbank. 1914-1919 British Victory Medal. Named to: Rev.J.Calderbank. The Reverend Canon John Calderbank was educated at Selwyn College, Cambridge gaining a BA in 1913 and MA in 1918. He was ordained Deacon in 1914 and Priest in 1915. Curate of Penrith 1914-15 Served in Royal Army Medical Corps in 1915 and Commissioned as Temporary Chaplain to the Forces later that year, serving until 1918. He entered the French Theatre of War on 4th June 1916.
