You are bidding on this 14 CARAT GOLD CAPPEDGENUINE GREAT WHITE SHARK TOOTH (Carcharodon carcharias), a full 1-7/8" long (measured on the longest slant side, from the tip to the lower edge of the cap), from an 18-20 foot great white was caught before DECEMBER 1998 . After that time white sharks were DECLARED PROTECTED , then ENDANGERED . As a result, NO white sharks have since been caught. THIS IS WHY THE PRICES OF GREAT WHITE SHARK TEETH ARE SO MUCH HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER SHARK TEETH IN THE WORLD!! The serrations are like a Steak knife , and are complete . The tooth is Snowy white without any flaws. It has recently been capped in Solid 14 Carat Gold and a 1/2"by 3/8" loop on the top as a pendant; the gold is bright and the cap is shiny and new and without any flaws .
