Green Depression Glass Vaseline Glass Oval Wheel Cut Serving Platter - Grapes and Grape leaves wheel cut image It has a round glass ring in the center to rest a bowl on for dip or whatever yummy thing you'd like to put t The bottom is ribbed. I believe it may be manufactured by Federal Glass Company, because this style of ribbing is common in their pieces. Like all Vaseline Glass should, it floresces (glows) beautifully under a blacklight. It is brilliantly luminous under blacklight. The Platter is in VERY GOOD, condition. It has no Chips, Cracks, or Flaws from use, except for a very small number of light utensil marks, which do not affect the beauty or usability of the piece. The piece does have the occasional manufacturing flaws of a tiny bubble, or straw mark, which is normal and an indication of vintage authenticity. These are natural imperfections that occur in the manufacturing process of Depression glass. This Platter is guaranteed to be genuine vintage/antique - not reproduction. The color is a shimmering and slightly yellow brilliant green! Size: The Platter measure 8 1/2" wide - outside diameter, and 12 1/4" long. It would make a lovely addition to your collection, and would be a lovely addition to your table setting!
